Job Description FIRE SPRINKLER SALES/ESTIMATOR - FIRE SPRINKLER EXPERIENCE REQUIREDAllsouth Sprinkler Company is a full-service licensed Fire Sprinkler Contractor with corporate offices in Buford GA. ASC was established in 1973 and specializes in design, fabrication, and installation of large warehouse ESFR systems. We are seeking a skilled estimator/salesman to generate system layouts and cost estimates. As part of a professional and highly experienced team, you will be mentored in best practices and become knowledgeable of NFPA and life safety code requirements.Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited ToCreate Fire Protection layouts, estimates, and material listsEstimate total cost of materials, labor, and misc. itemsCommunicate with customers as needed to clarify to completionCreate and deliver proposals in a timely fashion that meets or exceeds expectationsCommunicate with other departments to optimize design efficiency for fabrication and installation of systemsMaintain documents for Design and Project ManagementRequirementsFire Sprinkler experienceMicrosoft Office skills, Outlook, Word, Excel for calculations and organizationAble to read engineer/design, architectural, and structural blueprints.Fundamental understanding of general construction methods, practices, and terminologyInterpret customer supplied drawings and develop layoutsStrong mechanical aptitudeSkilled time management with ability to prioritize tasks and consistently complete projects accuratelyWork with minimal supervision, follow instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skillsGood communication skills, both oral and writtenBe proactive with enthusiasm and determination to improve yourself, the process and business where possibleEnsure quality assurance of completed work prior to sharing with managersSelf-confidence, self-motivated, self-starterNeat, clean, professional appearanceIntegrity, honest, and fairness with self and othersHigh level of self-discipline, motivation, and ability to operate in a team environmentEducation And QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.College or technical school certification .1-3 yrs. experience with fire sprinkler layouts CAD experience Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, and Outlook.Physical Demands And Work EnvironmentMostly quiet office environment with moderate noise with computers, printers, and light trafficOffice expectations to work well with other colleagues, and carry out all tasks in a professional manner and effectively communicate with both internal and external partiesOccasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, stooping, bending, reaching, and stretching occur dailyProfessional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipmentOffice Hours In Buford GAMonday - Thursday 7am to 5pmFriday 7am - 11amCompensationBase payCommissionsBonus programCompany vehicleCompany DescriptionAllsouth Sprinkler Company is a full-service licensed Fire Sprinkler Contractor established in 1973 and specializes in design, fabrication, and installation fire sprinkler systems.
