The Fuel Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling our fuel and lubrication products to commercial clients, managing and expanding client relationships, and identifying opportunities for new business. The role involves building a deep understanding of customer needs, preparing sales proposals, negotiating terms, maintaining accurate account records, and meeting sales targets. The person will also collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.Key Responsibilities • Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of fuel and lubricant accounts • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold outreach • Build strong, long-term relationships with commercial clients across fleet, construction, agricultural, and industrial sectors • Prepare and present pricing, proposals, and contracts tailored to customer needs • Negotiate terms and close deals to drive revenue and maximize profitability • Monitor market trends, fuel pricing, and competitor activity • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipelines, and customer accounts in CRM systems • Collaborate with operations and dispatch to ensure timely and reliable service delivery • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance goalsQualificationsProficiency in sales and customer relationship management, with strong negotiation and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of fuel products, lubrication solutions, or related industries is an advantageCompetence in market research, lead generation, and cold outreachStrong verbal and written communication skills for preparing proposals and maintaining customer interactionsAbility to analyze customer needs and provide tailored product solutionsExperience in CRM software and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferredValid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory as neededProven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and work in a results-driven environmentCompensation: Base salary starting at $66,560 with 10% commission gross profit. Pay will be based on experience and qualifications.
