The Fuel Sales Specialist will be responsible for promoting and selling our fuel and lubrication products to commercial clients, managing and expanding client relationships, and identifying opportunities for new business. The role involves building a deep understanding of customer needs, preparing sales proposals, negotiating terms, maintaining accurate account records, and meeting sales targets. The person will also collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.Qualifications3–5+ years of proven sales experience in fuel, petroleum products, lubricants, or a closely related industry (required)Demonstrated success selling fuel products (e.g., gasoline, diesel, bulk fuel, or lubricants) to commercial or industrial customersStrong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a results-driven, quota-based environmentAdvanced skills in customer relationship management, negotiation, and account developmentExperience with prospecting, lead generation, and cold outreach within the fuel or energy sectorAbility to assess customer operational needs and recommend tailored fuel and lubrication solutionsValid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territoryExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including proposal development and contract negotiationBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferredKey Responsibilities • Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of fuel and lubricant accounts• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold outreach• Build strong, long-term relationships with commercial clients across fleet, construction, agricultural, and industrial sectors• Prepare and present pricing, proposals, and contracts tailored to customer needs• Negotiate terms and close deals to drive revenue and maximize profitability• Monitor market trends, fuel pricing, and competitor activity• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipelines, and customer accounts in CRM systems• Collaborate with operations and dispatch to ensure timely and reliable service delivery• Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance goalsCompensation: Base salary starting at $70,304 + 10% commission gross profit. Final pay will be based on experience and qualifications.
