Traveling Superintendent

Location: Marietta, GAType: Full-timePer diem: $50 working daysHousing: $3,000We're seeking a Traveling Superintendent to join our team based out of our HQ Office in Marietta, GA. You'll serve as the on-site Superintendent, Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO), and Quality Control Manager (QCM), ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, on-schedule projects.Key Responsibilities: Daily Oversight: Manage all on-site activities, supervise subcontractors, and maintain a safe and productive work environment Project Coordination: Review contract documents, understand project scope, and ensure the schedule is maintained Reporting: Provide accurate, detailed daily reports with photos, highlighting progress, delays, and quality/safety issues RFIs and Redlines: Proactively address and track RFIs, update redline drawings, and ensure subcontractors follow plans and specs Safety and Quality: Conduct daily safety and quality inspections, ensuring compliance with standards and addressing any concerns Meetings: Lead daily morning meetings with subcontractors and owners, coordinating closely with the project team Material Management: Receive material deliveries, document discrepancies, and keep a rolling punch list with responsibilities and deadlines Commissioning and Handover: Lead commissioning activities and ensure a timely project handover Collaboration: Communicate regularly with owners, subcontractors, and B2 Constructors to resolve issues and ensure project success Financial Coordination: Work with project managers on monthly pay applications, providing updates on percent completion and schedule adjustmentsRequirementsQualifications:10+ years of commercial/industrial construction experience, with expertise in underground utilities, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and general construction tradesProficient in MS Office, Procore, and other construction management software OSHA 30 certified (or ability to become certified within 10 days)Ability to submit detailed daily reports and manage multiple tasks efficientlySelf-starter capable of leading a project without constant oversightPreferred Experience:10+ years with a commercial general contractor5+ years federal government project experience, especially with VA hospitalsArmy Corps of Engineers Quality Control Management certificationBenefits Competitive Salary - We offer top-of-market salaries to attract and retain the best talentComprehensive Benefits100% employee health coverageDental and vision insurance optionsRetirement plan with company matchAccidental death and dismemberment insurancePaid vacation (two weeks), sick leave, and holidaysOne week of paid time off during the Christmas holiday Career Advancement: Opportunities for professional development, learning, and career growth Dynamic Work Environment: Every day presents new challenges, allowing you to broaden your experience and skills Flexible Schedules: We know life happens, so we offer schedules that accommodate your lifestyle
