We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Platform Engineer to join an enterprise DevSecOps Platform team supporting 300+ developers. This is a hands-on role focused on operating and improving an enterprise DevSecOps toolchain while contributing to upcoming platform consolidation and migration initiatives.What You'll DoSupport and maintain enterprise DevSecOps platforms in a production environmentAdminister and troubleshoot Jenkins/CloudBees CI and GitHub Enterprise ServerBuild, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and reusable workflowsManage AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes/EKS environmentsDevelop and maintain production-scale Terraform modules and infrastructureManage Helm releases, Docker workloads, scaling, storage, and troubleshootingInvestigate and resolve production incidents across compute, networking, storage, identity, and certificatesSupport developer onboarding and adoption of CI/CD and development toolingPartner with Application Security and Cybersecurity teams on security standards and vulnerability remediationOperate and integrate tools such as JFrog Artifactory/Xray and SonarQubeDevelop runbooks, documentation, and operational standardsFuture Platform InitiativesThe team is planning significant platform consolidation and migration initiatives, including:GitHub Enterprise Server → GitHub Enterprise CloudJenkins/CloudBees → GitHub ActionsDeployment of Actions Runner Controller (ARC) self-hosted runners on EKSEnterprise repository migration using GitHub Enterprise ImporterEnterprise SSO/SCIM and access governanceConsolidation of code security scanningAtlassian Cloud migration initiativesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree7+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Platform EngineeringStrong hands-on AWS experience, particularly EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Route 53, KMS, EFS, and RDSProduction Kubernetes/EKS experienceStrong Terraform experience including modules, state management, multiple environments, and CI/CD-driven deploymentsEnterprise Jenkins/CloudBees administration and pipeline development experiencePractical GitHub Actions experienceStrong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and/or GroovyExperience with Helm and DockerExperience with DevSecOps tooling such as SAST, SCA, SBOM, container scanning, and quality gatesStrong Linux administration and troubleshooting skillsUnderstanding of networking, DNS, routing, firewalls, proxies, VPN/Transit Gateway, and load balancingExperience with TLS, PKI, certificates, truststores, and mTLSExperience with identity technologies such as LDAP, Azure AD, SAML, OIDC, SSO, SCIM, and RBACAbility to work independently and participate in an on-call rotationPreferred QualificationsGHES → GitHub Enterprise Cloud / EMU migration experienceJenkins → GitHub Actions enterprise migration experienceGitHub Enterprise Importer (GEI) experienceActions Runner Controller (ARC) experienceArtifactory/Xray, SonarQube, or Atlassian Cloud migration experienceAWS DevOps Engineer Professional or Solutions Architect certificationExperience working in regulated enterprise environmentsWork ArrangementThis position is hybrid in St. Louis, MO, with 3 days per week onsite, preferably Wednesday through Friday.Contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for conversion based on business approval and performance.
