This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across the plant.As the owner of the production equipment within your area, you will partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to drive uptime, improve reliability, and execute proactive maintenance strategies that support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.This is an ideal opportunity for a strong manufacturing maintenance leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex equipment and process issues, and wants to build long-term reliability programs while developing high-performing teams.ResponsibilitiesLead Maintenance & Reliability OperationsProvide leadership, coaching, and performance management for Maintenance Engineering Technologists (METs), Team Maintenance Leaders (TMLs), and Team Maintenance Specialists (TMSs)Own the execution of daily maintenance and corrective action plans to address equipment and process issuesDrive long-term reliability improvements through strong collaboration between Maintenance and Operations teamsMonitor KPIs, analyze performance trends, and implement actions to improve reliability and operational performanceLead root cause analysis and PDCA problem-solving activities from issue identification through sustainable countermeasuresEnsure maintenance work is completed safely, accurately, and in alignment with plant standards through routine audits and field engagementDrive Continuous ImprovementIdentify and implement equipment, process, and procedural improvements that increase reliability and efficiencySupport autonomous maintenance and Operator Driven Reliability initiativesDevelop proactive and predictive maintenance strategiesExecute Preventive Maintenance Optimization and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodologiesLead bad actor analysis initiatives and overhaul planning activitiesBenchmark best practices across sister plants and help standardize maintenance excellence initiativesSupport Technical & Asset Management ExcellenceMaintain ownership of key technical documentation including PLC programs, HMI systems, drive programs, equipment drawings, and FMEAsEnsure proper change management processes are followed across maintenance activitiesUtilize SAP to support asset management and maintenance planning activitiesEstablish inventory classifications and stocking strategies for maintenance storesSupport maintainability, operability, and design reviews for equipment and system improvementsPromote workplace organization (WPO), utility cost reduction efforts, and overall maintenance financial stewardshipDevelop People & CapabilityBuild and maintain training and development programs for maintenance personnelProvide technical guidance, standards, and expertise to maintenance teamsFoster a culture centered around safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvementCreate clear expectations aligned with business objectives while providing regular coaching and feedbackQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree required; engineering or technical degree preferred5+ years of manufacturing experienceStrong commitment to safety and operational excellenceExperience leading teams within a manufacturing environmentAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production settingStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsProficiency interpreting:Electrical schematicsP&IDsMechanical layouts and designsStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project Management toolsPreferredSAP experienceAutoCAD knowledgeLean Six Sigma certificationExperience with predictive maintenance, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement methodologiesPay TransparencySalary Range: $102,600-$176,755The range disclosed complies with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Offers within this range will be determined by considering relevant factors including education, experience, and internal alignment. This position may also be eligible for annual performance bonuses and other incentive programs.
