Outside Sales Representative

Column Technical Services is hiring a motivated Outside Sales Representative to lead the onsite sales and marketing operations for a steel fabrication and stamping company in Itasca, IL. This key position will develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company goals to drive growth, improve customer satisfaction, and contribute to organizational success.A background in fabrication, stamping, and rolling and book of business is required.**ResponsibilitiesAdhere to company safety policies and maintain a safe working environmentUphold quality standards through proper procedures and documentation practicesApply 5S principles for housekeeping and workspace organizationMaintain punctual and consistent attendanceDevelop annual sales plans based on company objectivesLead implementation and oversight of sales policies and practicesCreate innovative marketing strategies for products and servicesAnalyze market trends and competitor activity to recommend improvementsManage multiple channel sales strategies and executionDirects, empowers, and facilitates the growth of the sales and procurement teams.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational and production issuesSupport cross-functional teams and contribute to shared goalsPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsFive years of Sales experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related fieldIndustry experience in metal stamping and fabricationExisting book of business to contribute from day one Strong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesStrategic thinker with a proactive mindsetEffective communicator and relationship-builderPassion for customer success and satisfactionGoal-oriented and driven to achieve resultsTechnical understanding of manufacturing processesProven experience in sales and marketingThis position requires occasional travel, primarily outside the local area and typically involving overnight stays
