Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

ATC west Healthcare Services is seeking a local, experienced CRNA to provide sporadic PTO coverage. This is a no-call, daytime-only position with guaranteed 8-hour shifts. The role involves primarily cataract procedures along with a range of general surgeries and scopes, requiring independent work with on-site surgical support. Dates & Schedule Start Date: As needed (sporadic, ongoing PTO coverage)Shift: Guaranteed 8-hour daysSchedule Variability: Day schedules may vary slightlyCall: No call requiredCredentialing Timeframe: 1 month or lessLocal Candidates Only: Must live within driving distance (no exceptions) Job Details & Responsibilities Setting: Level 4 trauma center with 2 operating roomsAverage Daily Cases:Cataracts: per dayOther procedures: 3 4 per dayCommon Procedures Include:Cataracts, colonoscopies, EGDs, carpal tunnel, total knees (spinal only), minor general surgeriesRequired Anesthesia Skills:General surgery (adult & pediatric)Minor nerve blocksIV regional & spinal anesthesiaRegional anesthesiaVentilation managementLocal infiltrationSupport Staff: Surgical techs, RNs, other CRNAs, and present surgeonsEMR: EPIC (requires 4 5 hour compensated training) Required Skills & Qualifications NBCRNA Certification RequiredActive Iowa (IA) License RequiredCertifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS All RequiredCOVID Vaccination RequiredExperience: No new grads must be experienced and able to work independentlyLocation: Must be local or within driving distance
