Project Engineer – Construction

We are seeking Project Engineers to support utility-scale solar PV, substations, and battery energy storage (BESS) projects. This role works closely with engineering, construction, and project teams to coordinate design, support field execution, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport project coordination, documentation, and field activities across disciplinesTrack schedules, progress, and materials; identify and escalate issuesReview and coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, and SCADA designsAssist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and reportingFacilitate communication between internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholdersSupport problem-solving, process improvements, and lessons learnedRequirementsBachelor’s degree in engineering (EIT required; PE preferred)1–7 years of project engineering or project management experience (renewables preferred)Familiarity with solar, substations, or BESS projects is a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Autodesk preferredStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to read and interpret construction documentsAdditional DetailsField-based role with travel and remote project work requiredTypical schedule: 6 days/week, 10-hour shiftsReports to Senior Manager, Engineering & Preconstruction
