Lead Java Developer/San Antonio, TX Onsite 10 mth+ contract

Lead Java DeveloperWe are seeking a Java developer. In this role, you will serve as shared developer for a scrum team that will work in the educational services work for State of TX. The candidate should have proven background in analysis, design, documentation, and testing of multiple components of the Java application.Required Skills - 3-5SQL JavaScript HTML/XML CSS JSPRequired Skills: 5+ years of experience in Java development role in software development team with Java stack 5+ years of strong hands-on experience with SQL, JavaScript, HTML/XML, CSS and JSP Demonstrated expertise with SQL: Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions required. Demonstrated expertise with SQL Anywhere/Sybase/DB interactive tools or similar tools/databases (relational databases) required. Demonstrated expertise with web services, such as REST or SOAP required. Advanced knowledge of Spring Framework required. Advanced knowledge of J-Unit/Unit testing best practices and testing methodologies required. Experience with Source Control (e.g., git) and code management techniques required. Experience with Agile/Scrum, Source Control for branching, project administration, and Atlassian best practices.Preferred Skills: Experience working within the Educational services domain is a plus. Bachelor's Degree or applicable work experience Experience with Postman, API Testing and Test automation Exposure to SQL Query optimization and tuning Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Credentialing Experience leading technical team with coaching/mentoring skills
