Physical Therapist AssistantThe Physical Therapist Assistant will utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions and provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist.ScheduleDays, 8 hours M-F with flexible times as long as they are consistent and communicated with the Director of Rehabilitation.ResponsibilitiesAdminister various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices.Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments as necessary.Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy.Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.Participate in required meetings, including patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.Support students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist and assist in obtaining necessary DME or supplies.Adhere to APTA and state required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMinimum of 1 year of PTA experience.Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation settings.Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
