Job DescriptionARMStaffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Potosi, Missouri.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Physical Therapy AssistantDiscipline: TherapyStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelPhysical Therapist Assistant\n\nSchedule\nDays, 8 hours M-F with flexible times as long as they are consistent and communicated with the Director of Rehabilitation.\n\nJob Description\nThe Physical Therapist Assistant will utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions and provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAdminister various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices.\nAssess patient progress and communicate with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments as necessary.\nDocument all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy.\nProvide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.\nParticipate in required meetings, including patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.\nSupport students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist and assist in obtaining necessary DME or supplies.\nAdhere to APTA and state required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice.\n\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n\nMinimum of 1 year of PTA experience.\nExperience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation settings.\nActive Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.\n\n\nWhy ARMStaffing?\nAt ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
