We re looking for diverse, talented team members who want to grow and challenge what s possible with us.Who we re looking for*** s Final Assembly Production Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Assembly Seibi TechnicianThe primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical/skilled support to Assembly Final Assembly Engineering team. This includes design/drawing review, buyoff support, install/commissioning, and equipment start up support.Reporting to the Seibi Manager the person in this role will support the Final Assembly Production Engineering department's objective to provide high quality, low cost and reliable plant Equipment and control systemsWhat you ll be doingReview equipment specifications and design, identify improvements, conduct vendor buyoffs to confirm equipment functions,Install equipment, verify safety, quality, and productivity of equipment.Investigate to determine modification requirements. Implement modifications. Trial and adjust.Lower cost and decrease project time by confirming safety, quality, and productivity of equipment at vendor, prior to installation. Minimize adjustment time during vehicle trials by performing quality trials at vendor.Lower cost and decrease project time by overseeing installation by vendor, and facilitating kanban process.Improve equipment quality and productivity by implementing adjustments, as identified during online vehicle trials.Confirm quality results by secondary method (Torque check, vacuum profiles, etc)Install, setup and troubleshoot Toyopuc and Allen-Bradley program controllersProvide training to Maintenance members on newly implemented equipmentShare Subject Matter Expert knowledge to local NAMC Maintenance and Production MembersTravel up to 50% at times.What you bringStrong PLC programming/troubleshooting ( Toyopuc, Seimens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Allen Bradley)- 2 yearsComprehensive knowledge of PLC s - 2 yearsComprehensive knowledge of Electrical circuits and Industrial controls- 2 years2 year technical degree or completion of trade school program (EET or Industrial Maintenance Technology) and/or equivalent work experience.Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawingsAbility to travel up to 50% at times.
