Nurse Practitioner | Surgery - Cardiothoracic Location: Colorado Springs, CO Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: $100,588 to $143,769 per year Start Date: ASAP About the Position • Description: • Experienced Cardiac Surgery Nurse Practitioner needed to provide advanced perioperative and ICU care for cardiothoracic surgery patients in a collaborative, patient-centered team. • Job Responsibilities: • Provide advanced care for cardiothoracic surgery patients • Assist in cardiac surgeries including first assist and endoscopic vein harvesting • Manage CVICU, floor, and clinic patients • Participate in operating room coverage (Monday–Friday) • Conduct patient rounding, evaluations, and follow-ups • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs • Prescribe medications and develop plans of care • Perform bedside procedures as appropriate • Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Requirements • Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP) • Minimum 3 years cardiac/cardiovascular surgery experience with ICU management • Active Colorado license or eligibility • Active DEA with full prescriptive authority • BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) • NPDB Self-Query within 30 days • No locums, no visa candidates Benefits Offering Best Rates, Comprehensive benefits, Relocation and Sign on bonus Malpractice insurance, Weekly Pay Runs – Get paid every week, fast and hassle-free ️ Malpractice Insurance Provided – Full coverage for peace of mind Referral Bonuses – Get rewarded when you refer a colleague
