Content Acquisition Specialist (Contract)

Overview We are seeking a Content Acquisition Specialist to support an acquisitions and content partnerships team. This role focuses on contract research, deal support, sales data analysis, and license renewals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams (legal, operations) and external partners such as publishers, agents, and authors.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze sales and performance data using internal systemsReview and interpret contracts, amendments, and licensing termsSupport drafting of contract amendments in partnership with legalMaintain accurate records in Salesforce and other databasesProcess updates such as payee changes and content terminationsAssist with and negotiate license renewalsProvide operational and administrative support to the acquisitions teamQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred5+ years of experience in publishing or content licensingStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExperience working with contracts, databases, and high-volume dataProficiency in Excel, Salesforce, Airtable, and Microsoft Office toolsExcellent communication and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
