Overview of ResponsibilitiesOR Sanitization: Perform high-speed cleaning, mopping, dusting, and clinical disinfection of all surfaces within Operating Rooms to ensure patient safety.Waste Management: Manage high-volume waste removal, strictly separating biohazardous materials from non-hazardous waste.Sharps Safety: Safely handle and dispose of sharps containers (needles/injectables) according to strict medical protocols.Room Turnover: Respond rapidly to workflow adjustments to ensure ORs are disinfected and ready for the next surgical procedure.Inventory & Logistics: Organize and restock equipment rooms using standardized checklists to ensure surgical teams have what they need at a moment's notice.Schedule/Shift:Monday – Friday (No Weekends / No On-Call)Choice of 4x10s or 5x8s; shifts conclude by 5:00 PM.Required:Safety Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of biohazardous waste handling and sharps disposal protocols.Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively within a high-pressure, fast-paced clinical team.Physical Stamina: Ability to maintain constant movement and perform frequent lifting throughout the shift.Preferred (Nice to Have):Active CNA Certification (Highly valued).Prior experience specifically within a hospital Operating Room (OR) environment.Specialized certifications in professional clinical cleaning or PPE handling.
