Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA AR-SA Job Title:  Production WorkerDepartment:  ProductionReports To:  Production Foreman Company OverviewEastern Alloys manufactures world-class zinc alloys for the die casting, foundry and steel coating industries using state-of-the-art processing technologies.  Eastern Alloys’ competitive advantage in the industry is its combination of exceptional quality products and unique customer service programs to ensure our customer have all the tools needed to manufacture high quality products.  Eastern Alloys maintains zinc manufacturing plants in New York and Kentucky. Position SummaryThe Production Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks within the manufacturing process.  This includes operating machinery, assembling products, monitoring production quality, and ensuring that production goals are met in an efficient, safe, and quality-driven manner.  The Production Worker will work as part of a team ensuring the timely production of goods while adhering to all safety standards and company policies. Responsibilities & Duties·        Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the production area to ensure a safe working environment.·        Perform regular quality pre and post equipment checks.·        Report production progress and any production-related issues to supervisors or managers.·        Work closely with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines.·        Assists with set up, break down, and changeovers during casting.·        Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards before packaging or shipping.·        Other duties as assigned. Qualifications·        High school diploma or equivalent.·        Experience in an industrial manufacturing or production environment, preferred.·        Forklift certification preferred.·        Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production issues preferred.·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Work EnvironmentThis role requires the ability to stand, kneel, crawl, climb and bend for extended periods of time.  This role will primarily work on the plant production floor and will require the ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, and will be exposed to fluctuations in temperature. Expected Salary RangeThe salary range offered for this position is a good-faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay.   Eastern Alloys, Inc. reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range based on a variety of factors such as experience, geography, etc.Compensation details: 18.5-19.5 Hourly WagePIa6bd0e5c1d1e-26276-40021994
