Allergy Medical Assistant

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Our Allergy clinic is looking for an energetic, fast learner, and team player to join our nursing team. Up to 32 hours/weeks. Days only (Tuesday - Friday). No weekends. If you enjoy being a key part of the overall patient experience, you will thrive in this environment as you greet patients warmly and triage them upon arrival. You will prepare them to see the clinician by obtaining their histories, vital signs, and weight/height measurements. As an MA in Allergy you will perform allergy testing, spirometry testing, and immunotherapy injections for our patients. Other duties include ordering medication refills and performing medication prior authorizations. You will be responsible for preparing examination and procedure rooms so they are always in order and ready for each patient. Additional duties may be required dependent on the employee's certification. Exceptional attention to maintaining a clean and safe environment by sanitizing exam rooms and workstations is essential to this position. You can plan on some administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and procedures for patients, managing necessary documents for lab results, allergy immunotherapy injections, and communication with providers. Our practice's fast-paced environment will constantly keep you going throughout the day!
