We focus on collaboration and creativity, crafting high-quality, engaging games that leave a lasting impact on players worldwide.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Accountant is responsible for leading revenue recognition and payroll accounting processes. This role will require someone who is detail-oriented to ensure accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant reporting, support month-end close and audits, and partner cross-functionally with Sales, Business Development, HR, and external partners.Essential Functions:Revenue RecognitionLead revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP (ASC 606)Review contracts including digital sales, licensing, royalties, and work-for-hirePrepare and review revenue schedules, deferrals, accruals, and journal entriesReconcile revenue accounts and investigate variancesSupport internal and parent company revenue reportingPayroll Processing & AccountingOversee payroll journal entries, accruals, and reconciliationsPartner with HR and payroll providers to ensure accurate processingAllocate payroll expenses by department and projectSupport 401(k) and benefits-related accountingMonth-End Close & ReportingSupport monthly and quarterly close processesPrepare and review journal entries and reconciliationsPerform variance analysis for revenue and payroll accountsAudit, Compliance & ControlsSupport internal and external auditsMaintain accounting policies and internal controlsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance8+ years of accounting experienceStrong knowledge of US GAAP, especially ASC 606Payroll accounting experienceAdvanced Excel skillsExperience with NetSuite and payroll systems preferredAspyr is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
