Bankruptcy Litigation Associate Attorney (3+ Years) | New York, NY

A conflict-free, litigation-only boutique with a global footprint is seeking a mid-level associate to join an established bankruptcy litigation group with continued growth and high demand in the practice area.The role involves sophisticated work advising debtors, creditors, committees, foreign insolvency representatives, and other stakeholders on high-stakes insolvency-related disputes, including Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 proceedings, cross-border bankruptcy and asset recovery matters, creditor-debtor disputes and creditor remedies outside of bankruptcy court, and international judgment enforcement engagements.Who This Is For3+ years of bankruptcy/restructuring litigation experience in a large firm or comparable environmentStrong experience with brief writing, discovery, depositions, and courtroom workDirect client-facing experience with executives, institutional clients, or creditor committeesInterest in early case ownership, and building a practice in a lean, entrepreneurial platformDedicated bankruptcy experience (including clerkships) is strongly preferred, but candidates with elite credentials coming from commercial litigation will also be considered if they have some exposure to or demonstrated interest in bankruptcy work.The platform offers sophisticated, international litigation within a conflict-free, litigation-only environment characterized by lean case teams, early courtroom and client exposure, and meaningful advancement opportunities tied to skill and ownership — not class year.Hybrid, 3-day in-office schedule. The desired worksite location is New York, NY. Compensation range for this role is $260,000 - $390,000 + performance-based market bonus.
