The successful candidate will be a strategic and innovative leader, tasked with advancing the School's mission to empower the next generation of educators and leaders. This role involves leveraging the School's unique assets, including a strong blend of scholarship and practice, to position it as a leading institution in the field. The Dean will be the chief executive of the School, responsible for all program and unit activities, and will provide visionary leadership to faculty, students, and staff. Key responsibilities include leading administrative, fundraising, planning, and program development efforts to ensure the School's continued excellence and sustainability. Applicants for the Dean position at the company's School of Education should have a deep respect for both the practice-based and scholarly aspects of education. The role requires a leader who can work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other university leaders to advance the School and build on its strong partnerships with educational organizations.
