Marketing & Fundraising Development Manager

FULL TIME -HYBRID: 2 days in office (M, Tu or Th), 3 days remoteREPORTS TO: Senior Director of Development, Marketing & Corporate RelationsSUPERVISES: NoneTRAVEL: Approximately 5-10 days annuallyPOSITION SUMMARY:The Marketing & Development Manager plays a key role in advancing the mission of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association by supporting individual fundraising, grant writing, and integrated marketing strategies. This individual will contribute to all aspects of the donor pipeline as well as collaborate on creative marketing campaigns to amplify impact and engagement. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong writing, project management, and creative design skills who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Marketing & CommunicationCollaborate on, or lead the development of marketing and communication campaigns to support education and fundraising goalsCollaborate on, or create compelling content for newsletters, social media, website, and print collateralAssist with website management and updatesSupport brand management across platforms and departmentsDevelopment & FundraisingManage grant life cycles: proposal writing, grant submissions, financial tracking and reconciliationsCoordinate industry and individual donor communications, acknowledgements, and impact reportingSupport annual and major giving campaigns and donor engagement initiativesEnsure accurate donor records in the CRM, generate relevant reports, invoicing and collaborate on database improvementsORGANIZATIONAL COLLABORATION:Work cross-functionally with staff in marketing, education, fundraising, and association leadership to align development and marketing strategiesAssist in the planning and execution of donor events and annual meeting acknowledgments and activitiesRepresent the organization at meetings and events as appropriateQUALIFICATIONS:4-year degree and 5-7 years of professional experience in marketing, grant writing and individual fundraisingProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, donor databases/CRMs, grant application systems, social media platforms, and experience using website content management systemsCreating design experience using Canva, Adobe Creative SuiteInitiative, creativity, and high attention to detail working in a fast-paced, evolving environmentStrong project management and organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities effectivelyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperiences working within associations or member-based organizations preferredA "can-do" attitude and collaborative spiritSolid understanding of nonprofit development principals and best practicesJ-18808-Ljbffr
