Description Kansas Electric is hiring a hands-on leader to own materials, purchasing, inventory accuracy, fleet/equipment readiness, and warehouse logistics—so our field teams have what they need, when they need it.Materials & inventory (receiving, staging, jobsite delivery)Purchasing & vendor performance (pricing, lead times, follow-up)Fleet/equipment readiness and maintenance coordinationWarehouse logistics flow and facilities upkeepWhat You’ll Be Responsible ForKeep materials flowing: receive, stage, deliver, and resolve shortages/errors fastMaintain accurate inventory and visibility for project teamsExecute purchasing; drive vendor pricing, lead times, and follow-upCoordinate fleet/equipment utilization, preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacementsRun an organized warehouse that supports (and speeds up) field productionOwn facilities condition, safety, and basic maintenance/improvementsBuild simple systems and standard processes for logistics and purchasingLead 2–3 team members (warehouse staff and mechanic) with clear expectationsWhat We’re Looking ForOperations experience in electrical/construction/industrial environmentsUnderstands jobsite material flow, scheduling, and field prioritiesTrack record improving systems/processes (inventory, purchasing, logistics)High ownership, urgency, and follow-throughComfort with inventory/ERP tools and leading a small teamWhat Success Looks LikeMaterials arrive/stage/deliver on time (no constant fire drills)Inventory is accurate and visible; the warehouse supports field productivityFleet/equipment is reliable and maintained proactivelyIssues are caught early; facilities stay safe, functional, and job-readyBenefits and CompensationCompetitive salary + bonus potentialHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off + holidaysGrowth path in a scaling company
