Join a team of 700+ professionals dedicated to supporting those who protect our communities.Position SummaryDana Safety Supply is seeking a detail-oriented Emergency Vehicle Technician/Installer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the professional installation, integration, and maintenance of high-tech 12-volt equipment in law enforcement, public safety, and federal vehicles. We provide industry-specific training for candidates with a strong foundational knowledge of automotive or marine electronics.Primary Responsibilities• Installation & Integration: Professionally install 12v electrical components including light bars, sirens, flashers, in-car video systems, and radio communications.• Technical Assembly: Mount and secure vehicle hardware such as transport partitions, consoles, equipment racks, laptops, and printers.• Networking & Comms: Install and configure antennas, routers, and GPS systems.• Quality Control: Test, troubleshoot, and repair 12v circuits and equipment to ensure 100% functionality and safety compliance.Required Qualifications• Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of vehicle wiring and the ability to identify/troubleshoot electrical circuits.• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of automotive or marine 12v experience is preferred (but not required for the right candidate).• Physical Dexterity: Ability to work with small objects, distinguish colors for wiring, and maintain high attention to detail.
