Job DescriptionJob Summary:The Human Resources Associate I supports the HR department in various administrative and operational tasks. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth HR operations and effective communication within the organization. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting HR operations and fostering a positive work environment.Essential Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for the HR departmentAnswer the HR main phone line, directing calls to the appropriate person, assisting callers and/or taking messagesAssist with onboarding processes, including preparing new hire documentation & coordinating orientation schedulesOrder meals for meetings including weekly orientationMaintain accurate employee records in the HR databasesSupport recruitment efforts by coordinating interviewsRespond to employee inquiries regarding company policies and proceduresHelp coordinate employee engagement activities such as retirement celebrationsProcess invoices and receipts that require HR approvalEnsure the main lobby, HR conference rooms, and HR lobby are well-maintainedPerform general administrative tasks such as ordering office supplies and filingWork on special projects as assignedEducation And Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious experience in HR or an administrative role is a plusBilingual in Spanish is a plusKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Demonstrate a self-starting attitude and a strong ability to take initiativeExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with team members at all levelsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projectsStrong organizational abilities and attention to detailMust have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionWork EnvironmentWork is performed in a climate-controlled office settingProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerDisclaimerPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
