We put people first, work to keep them safe and build trusting relationships.Your role in our success:Provides technical support to operations team as it relates to new projects and existing facilities. Provides engineering analysis and determines technical requirements and specifications for materials and equipment needed for operational facilities including but not limited to piping, valves, regulators, control valves, meters. etc. Provides hydraulic pipeline modeling analysis of transmission and distribution system for evaluation of new system capacity requests, design day requirements, project opportunities, and in support of operations and maintenance needs/activities. Supports regulatory and compliance efforts as needed. Must be familiar with CFR 49 Part 192 and other industry regulations. Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete work with minimum supervision.What you'll be working on:Provide technical engineering expertise on all field operations projects including material and equipment specificationsDirect oversight and management of pipeline and distribution system design day model and all associated requirementsPerforms hydraulic modeling analysis as requested on distribution and transmission pipeline systemSupport the development of new projects through the identification of required facilities in support of business development opportunities or customer requestsCalculate and maintain station capacities and compare to current customer demandProvide support to Operations Services team in the development and execution of projectsAssist with local agency permitting such a railroad and DOT, as neededValidate construction and as-built records for new operations projectsSupport updates to existing engineering drawings, records, and material specifications for upgraded equipmentBecome familiar with all new regulations and codesPerform RSTRENG calculations and analysis as requiredAssist during emergency situations and responseAssist with section shut-down procedure developmentAssist Operations with annual regulatory requirements as neededAssist with material and equipment specification approvalsAssist with material verificationAssist with Contractor MSA ManagementWho you are:Bachelor's Degree required in engineering or engineering technology3+ years industry experience and/or training as evaluated by managementValid Driver's LicenseProficient knowledge of natural gas pipeline operations and compliance requirementsAbility to communicate technical requirements or concepts effectively both orally and in writingAbility to understand and apply technical specifications, federal/state/local regulatory codes, and accepted industry construction or operations practicesFamiliarity with concepts and terminology related to the construction and maintenance of natural gas transmission facilitiesProficient with computer software including Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Project, Synergi Gas Modeling Software, GasCalc, RSTRENG, and AutoCadAbility to read, analyze, and interpret engineering plans and specifications, technical procedures and manuals, and government regulationsDevelop thorough knowledge of ESNG pipeline system operationsCFR 49 Part 192 and other industry regulationsUnderstand DOT, railroad, and other permitting requirementsBenefits/what's in it for you?Flexible work arrangementCompetitive base salaryFantastic opportunities for career growthCooperative, supportive and empowered team atmosphereAnnual bonus and salary increase opportunitiesMonthly recognition eventsEndless wellness initiatives and community eventsRobust and customizable benefit packages-choose what works best with your life.
