Role: Database DeveloperLocation: Irving, TX or Tampa, FLRole type: Fulltime PermanentWe are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer with deep expertise of 8+ years in real-time analytics, in-memory databases, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SingleStore (MemSQL), Apache Pinot, and modern OLAP/OLTP architectures, along with exposure to GPU-accelerated processing and high-performance data systems.You will design and build low-latency, high-throughput data platforms that power real-time dashboards, analytics, and streaming applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop real-time data pipelines and analytics platformsArchitect solutions using in-memory databases (SingleStore/MemSQL, Apache Pinot)Build and optimize OLAP and hybrid OLTP systems for high concurrency and low latencyImplement streaming ingestion pipelines (Kafka, Pulsar, etc.)Optimize query performance for large-scale datasets (billions of records)Work on GPU-accelerated data processing frameworks (if applicable)Develop and maintain data models for real-time analytics use casesEnsure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalabilityCollaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver data-driven featuresMonitor, troubleshoot, and tune system performanceRequired SkillsCore Databases & TechnologiesStrong experience with:SingleStore (MemSQL)Apache PinotDeep understanding of:OLAP vs OLTP architecturesColumnar vs row-based storageExperience with **in-memory databases and distributed query
