Role Description This contract role is for a Network Administrator located on-site in Cayce, SC. The Network Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization's network infrastructure. Daily tasks include configuring and troubleshooting network devices, monitoring network performance, implementing security measures, and ensuring continuous system availability. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to address network-related issues and to implement technological improvements. Qualifications Proficiency in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).Strong knowledge of network protocols, IP addressing, and subnetting.Familiarity with security principles and tools, including firewall management and network intrusion detection/prevention systems.Experience with operating systems and server management (e.g., Windows, Linux).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for diagnosing network issues.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred but not required.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
