Title: Network AdministratorLocation: Cayce SC 29033On-site/Remote/Hybrid: OnsiteDuration: 12 MonthsInterview Process: One round of virtual interviews W2 ContactJob Description:The network administrators for these openings under the general guidance of the assigned Network Operations Center Manager will coordinate daily/weekly assignments for the deployment, operational support, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of the Agency's critical enterprise architecture. The network administrators will work with Network, Security, and other IT professional groups and non-IT staff to assist with problem resolution, mitigation of issues, and to provide technical solutions. The network administrator will ensure assignments are completed accurately and on-time, and regularly provide progress, tasks, and deliverables status updates to the assigned project manager.Specific duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:Support enterprise network and identity initiatives including SD-WAN deployment, PKI lifecycle management, and secure authentication servicesMonitor, identify, and remediate issues with Agency enterprise network and identity servicesSupport network connectivity and authentication services on Windows-based systemsSupport connectivity and secure access on mobile devices (i.e., Apple devices)Manage the network and identity infrastructure lifecycle at all stagesCreate and maintain network documentation (e.g., diagrams, coverage, and design documentation)Assist with deployment, configuration, and support of SD-WAN, PKI, and secure authentication solutionsPerform enterprise network deployments, installations, and upgradesRequires comfort working on a ladder; ability to lift 40 lbs.Perform firmware/software/security/feature upgrades across network and identity platformsMonitor Agency trouble ticket system and complete assigned network, authentication, and connectivity tickets• Will serve as the Agency's primary support resource for network and access-related (authentication) technical issues, troubleshooting and resolving most common/routine problemsAssists Agency staff/contractors in resolving network, authentication, and connectivity-related problemsCoordinate and assist with testing and validation of network and identity solutionsAdhere to State and Agency security and IT policies and standardsWork closely with key stakeholder groups, including Network, Security, and Server Hosting to ensure the appropriate level of engagement and focus is maintainedAssists various IT groups with other tasks as assigned such as with system/network installations and upgrades (i.e. racking equipment)Create, maintain, and review/improve upon network and identity documentationAbility to plan, organize, review, and implement associated project milestones to completionProvides updates to Project TeamPerform other tasks and duties as assignedREQUIRED SKILLS 1. 3+ Years of Experience with Enterprise Network Infrastructure and LAN Administration2. 3+ Years of Experience with Installing, Configuring, and Troubleshooting switches and wireless access points3. 3+ Years of Experience with SD-WAN, PKI, and secure authentication services4. 3+ Years of Experience with Troubleshooting network connectivity on Windows and mobile devices5. 3+ Years of Experience with creating, reading, and maintaining network documentation and diagramsPREFERRED SKILLS 1. Any network or related certification by an industry leader such as CompTIA, Cisco, or Microsoft. (Please indicate whether certificate is active or inactive on resume)2.
