Data Migration Program Manager (Contract)Location: 100% RemoteDuration: 6 MonthsWork Requirement: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact role where your leadership will directly influence program success, mitigate risk, and deliver meaningful business outcomes.OverviewThis is a true Program Manager role, NOT a Project Manager position. Candidates must have experience in that capacity.We are seeking a hands-on high level Program Manager to lead a high-visibility data migration program that requires stronger structure, execution, and momentum.This role is ideal for a proactive, results-driven leader who thrives in complex environments and can quickly bring clarity, alignment, and progress across multiple interdependent initiatives.You will play a critical role in driving delivery, owning the program end-to-end, managing cross-functional dependencies, and engaging with top leadership to ensure successful outcomes.This is not a coordination-only role; we are looking for someone who actively drives execution and delivers results.Key Responsibilities & Demonstrated ExperienceProgram Ownership & ExecutionTake full ownership of a complex, in-flight program and drive it to successful deliveryBuild and execute a clear, actionable roadmap across multiple workstreamsShift teams from planning stages into execution and measurable outcomesData Migration LeadershipLead enterprise-scale data migration initiatives from planning through execution and cutoverManage risks, timelines, and data integrity across multiple systemsCoordinate across data, engineering, and business teamsProgram Planning & Dependency ManagementDevelop and manage end-to-end project plans (MS Project or similar)Identify and proactively manage cross-project dependencies and risksEstablish clear milestones, deliverables, and timelinesStakeholder & Executive EngagementEngage and influence VP-level stakeholders and senior leadershipLead steering committees and deliver executive-level status reportingManage complex stakeholder dynamics and drive alignmentGovernance, Reporting & MetricsImplement and enforce program governance frameworksDefine and track KPIs and delivery metricsUse tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) to generate meaningful reporting and insightsDriving Velocity & AccountabilityIdentify bottlenecks and implement strategies to increase team velocityHold teams accountable while fostering strong collaborationEnsure consistent progress and delivery against commitmentsCross-Functional LeadershipAlign multiple teams across technology, data, and business functionsDrive clear and consistent communication across all stakeholdersPromote transparency and ensure teams are working toward shared outcomesRequired QualificationsProven experience as a high level Program Manager leading large, complex programs end-to-endStrong experience within financial services or banking environmentsDemonstrated success leading data migration programs at scaleExpertise in project planning, dependency management, and program governanceStrong stakeholder management skills, including VP-level engagementHands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesProficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) for tracking, reporting, and metricsTrack record of driving measurable outcomes and improving delivery velocityWhat We’re Looking ForA true “doer”—someone who takes initiative and drives resultsA leader who can step into a challenging environment and quickly create clarity and structureStrong communicator with the ability to influence, align, and execute at all levelsProven ability to turn around programs that are stalled or lacking momentumJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tukwila, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
