Financial Reporting Manager

We are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting leader with a strong background in SEC reporting and technical accounting, preferably coming from public accounting. The Financial Reporting Manager will oversee external reporting, ensure compliance, and support high-level financial transparency.ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation and review of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other disclosures)Ensure financial statements and disclosures comply with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulationsManage the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processesResearch and document technical accounting issues and new accounting standardsCoordinate closely with external auditors and manage audit processesDevelop and maintain internal controls over financial reporting (SOX compliance)Partner with FP&A, accounting, and executive leadership on reporting and analysisReview complex transactions and ensure proper accounting treatmentMentor and develop accounting and reporting staffDrive improvements in reporting processes, timelines, and accuracyQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceActive CPA required5+ years of experience in accounting or financial reportingPrior public accounting experience strongly preferredHands-on experience with SEC reporting and filingsStrong understanding of GAAP and technical accounting guidanceExperience with SOX/internal controlsExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsWhat Our Client OffersHigh-visibility role in a critical reporting functionHybrid schedule with flexibility and work-life balanceCollaborative, professional team environmentCompetitive compensation, bonus opportunities, and full benefits
