Job Title: Embedded Software Controls Engineer Overview We are seeking an Embedded Software Controls Engineer with a strong controls background to support the design and development of control algorithms for automotive systems. This role focuses heavily on MATLAB and Simulink-based controls development and requires hands-on experience taking control logic from design through implementation. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement control algorithms using MATLAB and SimulinkPerform model-based design for embedded control systemsDevelop and maintain control software for automotive applicationsTranslate control requirements into functional software behaviorSupport testing, validation, and integration of control softwareClearly articulate the control functions developed, including what the software does and how it interacts with the system Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in controls design and implementationStrong hands-on experience with MATLAB and SimulinkBackground in automotive or off-highway vehicle systemsExperience developing embedded control software (model-based development)bility to explain control logic, algorithms, and system behavior clearly Preferred Experience Experience working on engine, powertrain, hydraulics, or vehicle controlsFamiliarity with embedded systems and control validation processesPrior experience supporting production or fielded systems Contract Details Experience Level: Targeting ~3 years
