Construction Superintendent

Position Summary Basic IDIQ is seeking experienced and dependable Construction Superintendents in 4 locations: El Paso, DFW, Colorado Springs and Albuquerque to oversee daily field operations for fast-paced, multi-discipline construction projects. This position coordinates subcontractors, maintains project schedules and ensures all work meets safety, quality and contract requirements. Key Responsibilities * Oversee daily job site operations from mobilization through closeout. * Coordinate subcontractors, trades, vendors and material deliveries. * Review plans, specifications, scopes of work and schedules. * Monitor progress and promptly communicate delays or field issues. * Enforce project safety and quality-control requirements. * Maintain daily reports, photographs and jobsite documentation. * Coordinate inspections, meetings, punch-list work and final completion. * Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams. Qualifications * 5 years of construction supervisory experience, or 10 years of construction-trade experience. * Experience on commercial, federal, state or municipal construction projects. * Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety and quality control. * Ability to read plans, specifications and project schedules. * Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills. * Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and email. * Ability to work non-standard hours, including nights or weekends, when required. * Ability to pass a background check and qualify for access to federal or Department of Defense facilities. Preferred Experience * IDIQ, JOC, SABER, federal/DoD, state or municipal or equivalent commercial construction. * Job site management of 4 to 8 concurrent fast track, design-built and bid build multi-discipline projects ranging from $50,000 to $2.5 million. * Microsoft Project, Procore or similar construction-management software. * OSHA, EM 385-1-1 or USACE Construction Quality Management certifications. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive and committed to completing projects safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.
