Field Technician (Copper and Fiber)

Effort, Energy, and Execution Keep Your Axe Sharp We are looking for experienced Technicians to join our growing team and take on leadership roles in our fiber optic network expansion and maintenance projects. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair copper and fiber optic systems Perform cable splicing, terminations, and testing for both copper and fiber Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across multiple technologies Work with various test equipment including OTDRs, fusion splicers, and copper testers Interpret technical drawings and specifications Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations Coordinate with project managers and other teams Requirements 3+ years of experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance Proven expertise in both copper and fiber optic technologies Proficiency with OTDRs, fusion splicers, copper testers, and other relevant equipment Strong knowledge of industry best practices for copper and fiber systems Valid driver's license and clean driving record Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls Truck and tools, we do have a tool allowance but will not cover full costs Benefits Highly competitive salary with potential to earn six figures Comprehensive benefits package including PTO, 401K, and health/vision/dental insurance Ongoing professional development and training opportunities Employ allowances Travel across the US with employee allowances Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Paid training Professional development assistance Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday No weekends On call Overtime Weekends as needed Application Question(s): Do you have your own work vehicle and tools?
