We specialize in maximizing long-term value and providing strategic stewardship for generational real estate assets.About the RoleWe are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and lead a small team supporting a growing real estate portfolio.This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting and property management who is ready to take ownership of financial operations and grow into broader leadership responsibilities over time.What You’ll Do:Team LeadershipManage and develop a team of 3 (AP, AR, Accounting Lead)Set daily priorities and ensure alignment across the teamProvide coaching, accountability, and performance oversightAccounting OperationsOversee AP and AR processes and ensure accuracy and timelinessOwn the month-end close process (target approximately 5 business days)Review and manage bank reconciliations and financial reportingTrust and Property AccountingEnsure compliance with trust accounting standards, including no commingling of fundsOversee financials across approximately 75 entities and propertiesSupport client communications related to distributions and reportingFinancial OversightMonitor cash flow across the management companyPartner with external CPAs on reporting and auditsQualifications:Required3 to 7+ years of accounting experiencePrior people management experienceExperience with multi-entity or property management accountingStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reportingExperience owning or heavily contributing to month-end closePreferredExperience in real estate or property managementFamiliarity with AppFolio, Yardi, or similar systemsExposure to trust accounting or DRE guidelinesExperience with CAM reconciliationsCompensation and Benefits:Salary: $100,000 to $110,000Medical, dental, vision (50% covered)401(k) with 3% contributionProfit-sharing bonusLong-term disability and life benefits Location:Onsite in Gardena, CAOffice relocating to San Pedro, CA5 days per week in officeAdditional Job Application TermsThe range reflects both mid-level and senior experience.
