Frontend Developer

Our client is in need of a talented Front-end Developer who has a strong background in creative development and can showcase an impressive portfolio!As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for turning UX/UI designs into code developing modern, seamless websites and experiences. You will work closely with creative directors, designers and backend developers to bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation, ensuring internal websites look and feel best in class. Your role will involve developing visually impressive, responsive, high-performing, and scalable sites, emails and apps.Responsibilities include:• Collaborate with back-end developers, creative directors and designers to help create modern web sites and apps• Ability to take the web designs of others and bring them to life through front end development matching the look, feel and aesthetics while offering ideas on how to enhance the look and feel• Help back end developers with coding and troubleshooting• Experience with UX/UI design and how it translates to website design and development• Stay up to date on emerging technologies, development techniques, movement and components of modern website design• Ensure sites are developed for maximum speed • Deep understanding of accessibility standards and implementation• Ability to develop emails across a variety of email platformsRequirements include:• 3-7 years of front end development experience with a strong background in creative development• Portfolio showcasing your front end development skills and web design knowledge• Attention to detail and ability to develop the web designs of the team through high end, modern front end development practices• Hands on experience with JavaScript, CSS and jQuery• Experience with browser testing, QA and debugging• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)• Proficiency with software like InDesign, Photoshop and Figma • Experience working with and developing inside a variety of Content Management Systems including Word Press, Shopify and others• Experience developing emails in various email clients• Possess an innately curious approach to interactive development and modern best practices.• Bring a can-do approach to design implementation willing to figure out new skills and techniques that achieve best-in-class front end development.
