11-50About the RoleThe Company is seeking an Executive Director to provide visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the organization's mission through programmatic excellence, financial sustainability, and effective management. This role requires a leader with a proven track record in nonprofit operations, financial management, and organizational leadership, particularly in the areas of fundraising, donor engagement, and grant development. The Executive Director will also be the primary spokesperson, leading advocacy initiatives, and building and deepening partnerships with various stakeholders. A strong understanding of nonprofit governance, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders are essential.Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a minimum of 5-7 years' of senior leadership experience in nonprofit management, child advocacy, legal services, or a related field. The role demands a leader with strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, as well as the ability to lead with integrity, empathy, and sound judgment. Experience in managing teams, fostering collaborative work environments, and a background in family law, child protection systems, or trauma-informed advocacy are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree (JD, MPA, MSW, or equivalent experience) and be adept at financial management, HRIS, and productivity tools. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure the organization's long-term financial health and to position it as a trusted leader in advancing justice and protection for children.Travel Percent
