The Edge from Within.Perks Of Working At Ignite DigitalCompetitive pay and benefits, including PTOEducation stipends and referral bonusesCompelling work with the U.S. federal governmentStrong emphasis on volunteer and community engagementOpportunity to shape the future of our industrySupportive colleagues and management who invest in your growthWe are seeking a highly motivated BIM Modeler who will supplement current GOV Drafting team and Engineers in creation of in-house Installation Design Plans (IDPs), Installation Requirements Drawings (IRDs), and drafting resources in support of the development of Electronic Security Systems (ESS) design and engineering artifacts in accordance with NAVWAR M-4720.1, the Shore Installation Process Handbook (SIPH) version 5.0, and industry standards.ResponsibilitiesDevelop/modify 3D Models based on current documents/files using Revit 2024Develop IDPs and IRDs using Revit 2024 and AutoCAD 2023 (or later version) to transform design concepts and/or sketches as providedDraft IDPs to be submitted electronically in DWG and/or .PDF format and shall convey the installation and operational provisions of the installation in sufficient detail to ensure no misunderstanding of design intentions or functional capabilitiesInterpret and understand technical, architectural and structural drawings and details/specificationsEnsure all designs adhere to SIPH standards, industry regulations and project requirementsRevise and update drawings/models based on feedback and project changesWork independently and as part of a diverse team consisting of Drafters/Designers and engineers to develop drawings collectively.Required QualificationsCandidate must have associate’s degree or equivalent experience in related field (3-5 Years) with direct experience supporting NIWC LANT/NIWC PAC requiredDirect Revit and AutoCAD Drafting/Designing experience supporting NIWC LANT/NIWC PAC requiredFamiliarity with 3D modeling and engineering/design principlesStrong communication and coordination skills are required to engage with multiple stakeholdersProven ability to work in dynamic, multi-disciplinary environmentsProficiency in current version of Microsoft ExcelExcellent attention to detail and strong communication/collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS)Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Architecture, Engineering, or Construction) Schedule in Charleston SC: Hybrid 1-2 days a week onsiteSalary: 65k+ to align with education and experienceApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Ignite Digital is a Small Business committed to providing exceptional service to government agencies at competitive prices.
