It is not intended to be all inclusive.Job SummaryThis role is responsible for working with our Project Manager and Principals to see each phase of assigned projects through to completion including adherence to schedules, design quality, and processes to ensure smooth workflow and successful project delivery. This role, we expect you to be capable of semi-autonomous implementation of the primary duties and responsibilities.Primary Duties / ResponsibilitiesManage organization of project files, documents, and photosProduce permit sets, outline specifications, schedules, and detailsExchange data and general coordination with structural engineers and other consultantsMaintain AutoCAD standards – update blocks and templates, streamline the working drawingElevate our graphic standards and aestheticProduct research and office library updatesToggle between jobs and tasksTrack drawing deadlinesAwareness of product lead timesSchedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take succinct but coherent notes for sharing with team membersCommunicate regularly and directly with clientsCreate presentation materialsPrepare drawings and submittal packages from schematic design through construction documentsCollaborate in design process and make decisions within a teamSource, purchase, receive, and quality check FF&ECode research, for example: environmental, safety, structural, and zoning regulationsConduct site visits (documentation, field measurements, etc.)Construction Administration which may include bringing a contractor on board, participating in walk throughs with potential contractors, collecting bids, reviewing bids with the client, and engaging the chosen contractor.Navigate drawings/submittals through permit offices as projects requireCreate models (physical/digital)Provide periodic updates to Project ManagerJump into non project related tasks from time to timeKnowledge/Skills/Abilities - Required3-5 years related job experienceAdvanced skills in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suites, and G SuiteDemonstrate professional and clear communication skillsEfficient time management and prioritization of assigned tasksFlexibility to toggle between jobs and tasksProficiency in hand drawing and ability to effectively communicate graphicallyStrong sense of self motivation and attention to detailProficiency in the production of Construction DocumentationMust be authorized to work in the United States.
