Physical Therapist - Company Health & Wellness

Occupational Health Physical Therapist needed for a full-time temp contract opportunity with Yoh’s well-known client located in Denver, CO. This job is to cover a LOA and is anticipating to go from May 11th through August 3rd.   This workplace is located at a medical clinic at the airport, open to specific company employees, offering occupational, primary, and preventative care. You'll work alongside a team that provides injury prevention, case management/evaluation/treatment, general wellness, and health promotion. --> Shifts needed: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm Top Skills You Should Possess:Minimum (3) years' experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient physical therapy clinic or other ambulatory care clinicPrior occupational health experience highly preferredExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively teach, counsel, and educate employees on topics related to healthy living What You’ll Be Doing:Spend about 60 minutes with each patient to help support employees for MSK related injuries (back, shoulder, elbows, etc.)Assist in prevention and treatment of work-related injuries, ergonomics coaching, job site evaluations, health promotion, general wellness, and fitness programs promotionCase management and counseling the patient populationWork closely with stakeholders including safety officers, ergonomists, human resources, and other vendors to promote employee safety in the workplaceLead educational initiatives surrounding injury prevention, well-being, and other topics; develop and administer injury prevention and health promotion presentations, workshops, or other programming for employeesPerform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms and reports What You Need to Bring to the Table:Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited programLicensure with the State of Colorado as a Physical TherapistCPR/BLS certifiedYearly TB test or QuantiFERON GoldPassionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace What’s In It For You?Great work-life balance (predictable hours - no nights, holidays, or weekends!)Unique, interesting, and rewarding work environment getting to make a real difference in keeping workers safe, healthy, and on the jobBe part of a mission driven company that prioritizes collaborationWeekly direct deposit every Friday!
