Application Analyst – Epic Resolute (Professional Billing, Claims & Remittance)Certification: Epic Resolute (Required)Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Application Analyst with expertise in Epic Resolute Professional Billing, Claims, and Remittance to support implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of Epic applications. This role focuses on revenue cycle operations, billing workflows, and claims processing, ensuring accurate financial transactions and system efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesEpic Resolute Implementation & ConfigurationLead implementation, upgrades, and configuration of Epic Resolute modulesDesign and optimize billing workflows for accuracy and efficiencyConfigure and validate system settings aligned with business needsClaims & Remittance ManagementManage end-to-end claims and remittance processesAnalyze and resolve claim errors, denials, and payment discrepanciesEnsure accurate setup and testing of electronic and paper claimsIntegration & Data FlowCollaborate with IT teams to integrate Epic with external systems (payers, clearinghouses)Troubleshoot upstream/downstream data issues impacting claimsUser Support & TrainingAct as primary support for end usersTroubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolutionsDevelop and deliver user training and documentationContinuous ImprovementIdentify system enhancements to improve revenue cycle efficiencyOptimize workflows to reduce denials and improve reimbursementAdditional ResponsibilitiesServe as liaison between business users and technical teamsLead workflow design, system build, testing, and issue resolutionParticipate in project meetings, status updates, and go-live supportMonitor system performance and provide regular reporting to leadershipRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field8+ years of experience as an Application Analyst (Epic environment)Epic Resolute Certification (Required)Strong understanding of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)Experience with claims processing, remittance, and billing operationsKnowledge of data flow across Epic impacting claims generationKey SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExperience with system configuration, workflows, and testingProficiency in analytics/reporting tools and data visualizationExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to lead meetings and collaborate cross-functionallyExperience in healthcare/clinical systemsFamiliarity with Epic integrations and interoperability
