Sr. Billing Coordinator

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Billing Coordinator to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $80,000 to $110,000 per year. Job Responsibilities:Prepare, review, and distribute monthly pre-bills in accordance with firm procedures. Ensure accuracy in billing information as stated in engagement letters, outside counsel guidelines, and partner instructions. Generate and finalize invoices, ensuring proper delivery via mail, email, or e-billing platforms. Prepare and submit electronic invoices, ensuring successful processing by various e-billing vendors. Communicate with attorneys and clients regarding electronic matter setups, monthly accruals, and budget approvals. Requirements:At least 3-5+ years of experience in legal billing or a related field. Demonstrate proficiency in electronic billing systems and financial reporting tools. Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in invoices and financial records. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with attorneys and clients. Understand confidentiality requirements related to attorney-client relationships and financial transactions. Qualifications:Apply expertise in managing collections, payment follow-ups, and financial reconciliations. Utilize strong organizational skills to generate weekly missing time reports and track billing discrepancies. Work collaboratively with attorneys to support budgets, special reporting, and ad hoc billing requests. Adapt to a fast-paced legal environment while handling multiple billing assignments.
