Position Summary: Ajax/CECO/Erie Press is seeking a Deburr/Helper to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring parts meet cosmetic, fit, and functional specifications. In this hands-on role, you will use various hand and power tools to finish parts according to technical drawings, assist machine operators with setups, transport materials, and perform general maintenance tasks. Job Duties Review drawings for special instructions regarding deburring and surface finish requirements. Remove metal chips, dirt, and foreign materials from part surfaces and holes. Clean and inspect holes and threads, using measuring gauges to ensure compliance. Polish surfaces to achieve specified finishes without compromising integrity. Paint parts as necessary. Drill and tap holes as needed, maintaining close tolerances. Communicate any quality or appearance issues to supervisors. Safely transport materials using forklifts and overhead cranes. Assist in daily mail deliveries to/from the post office using a company vehicle.
