Manufacturing GrinderFull time Americas - North America - United States - Erie - RPSNA Erie (ERPA) PALocation: 2300 Powell Avenue Erie, PA 16506Direct Report: Tooling SupervisorsPurpose: Perform precision grinding operations to achieve tight tolerances, surface finishes, and dimensional accuracy on mold components.Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):Set up and operate surface, cylindrical, and/or jig grindersInterpret blueprints and work instructionsMaintain tight tolerances and surface finish requirementsInspect parts using precision measuring toolsMaintain equipment and ensure safe operationAuthorities (including, but not limited to):Stop production for quality or safety concernsAdjust machine offsets and setups within specificationsRecommend process improvementsPrimary Duties (including, but not limited to):Grind components to required tolerancesPerform wheel dressing and machine setupInspect parts using micrometers, indicators, and comparatorsDocument inspection resultsMaintain clean and organized work areaQualifications/Education Required:High school diploma or equivalent2+ years grinding experience or equivalent trainingPreferred Skills/Experience:Experience with tight-tolerance workKnowledge of mold componentsPossession of a valid Journeymen's licenseRecords:Inspection reportsTimecardsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
