Physical Therapist Location: Northridge, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,542 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapy Specialty: Physical Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-Hour Days, Tuesday to Saturday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must be licensed in the state Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Experience with inpatient clinical settings, trauma experience preferred Description: Unit includes Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. Patients treated per day varies depending on assigned area. Outpatient may treat up to 9 patients per day, while inpatient may treat up to 13 patients per day. Rehabilitation patient load varies based on the area assigned. Certification in speech therapy requires CCC-SLP. Physical therapists must possess a valid state license. Occupational therapists should have passed the NBCOT exam for certification. Electronic medical record system used is Cerner Powerchart. Rehab aides or support staff are available for assistance. Weekend requirements may vary based on departmental needs. Holiday shifts are not mandatory. Uniform consists of a maroon polo shirt, dark-colored pants, and closed-toed shoes; a lab coat is optional. Both outpatient and inpatient care may be required. Pharmacy services are available 24/7. Shifts can vary based on facility needs; typically consist of 8-hour shifts. Floater responsibilities may include covering assigned areas as well as additional areas when needed. Orientation to the specific job and unit is conducted within the department. Common patient diagnoses include orthopedic, post-surgical, neurological, trauma, and cardiac conditions. Experience with bedside swallow studies and video swallowing studies is preferred for speech therapy candidates. Allied health professionals are encouraged to apply.
