CMM Inspector
Job Description

We pride ourselves on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and our commitment to quality. We are currently seeking a CMM Inspector to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling Return Material Authorization (RMA), Discrepant Material Report System (DMRS), and First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation preparation. If you are detail-oriented and passionate about quality control, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Perform precise inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other metrology equipment.Interpret and review blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.Prepare and maintain RMA, DMRS, and FAI documentation in compliance with customer and industry standards.Verify that parts meet dimensional and quality specifications.Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs), maintain reports, and communicate results to the engineering and production teams.Support quality processes, including root cause analysis and corrective actions for discrepancies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous improvement in quality.Maintain calibration of inspection tools and equipment as required.Qualifications:Proven experience as a CMM Inspector in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of RMA, DMRS, and FAI documentation processes.Proficiency in using CMMs, including programming and operation (experience with Zeiss Calypso or PC-DMIS is a plus).Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections.Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality management systems is preferred.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Benefits:Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional growth and developmentJob Qualifications:Proven ability to function and communicate well in a team environment.Strong shop math skills and computer skillsMastery of relevant manufacturing and quality-related skills and concepts, including advanced blueprint reading.Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in an inspection position, including the operation and programming of CMMs.Relevant certifications or advanced education preferred.Experience in a manufacturing environment within the medical device and semiconductor equipment with ISO13485 AND ISO 9001 is desirable.Ability to lift to 35 pounds required.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent attention to details and follow up.Company DescriptionA&D Precision, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, we are dedicated to focusing on quality, delivery and profit, creating and supporting opportunities to add value for our customers, suppliers and employees.
