Business Analyst

Job Overview: The Senior Business Analyst serves as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams within the PMO, ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into clear requirements and actionable solutions. This role supports the full project lifecycle by driving requirements definition, delivering business analysis, and producing high-quality documentation and insights that enable informed decision-making. The Business Analyst plays a critical role in aligning technology initiatives with business strategy across enterprise and practice-specific systems.Key ResponsibilitiesLead business analysis activities across the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution evaluationFacilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions using structured elicitation techniques to define business needsTranslate business needs into clear, detailed, and actionable functional and technical requirementsDevelop and maintain key project documentation including business requirements documents, gap analyses, and project initiation materialsConduct research and market analysis to support best-practice recommendations and inform strategic decision-makingDistinguish clearly between business requirements and implementation solutionsPartner with stakeholders and project teams to define scope, validate requirements, and support solution designCreate process flows, use cases, and diagrams to support business understanding and system designCommunicate findings, recommendations, and requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesSupport project planning activities and collaborate with PMs and stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelinesStay informed on industry trends in business analysis and business intelligence tools and methodologiesQualifications & Experience7+ years of Business Analysis experience within a PMO or project-based environment (professional services, financial services, or pharmaceutical industry preferred)Strong experience across full project lifecycle delivery and stakeholder engagementProven ability to elicit, document, and manage complex business requirementsExpertise in writing detailed functional specifications and use casesExperience creating process flows, including swimlane diagrams and workflow modelsFamiliarity with business intelligence and reporting toolsStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office and business analysis toolsExcellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skillsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesSelf-directed, proactive, and detail-orientedBachelor’s degree preferred
