Job Title: Human Resources & Payroll ManagerJob Location: Nashville, TN (hybrid)Job Salary: 75k-120k Salary + Benefits Requirements: Human Resources, Payroll, Employee RelationsBased in Nashville, TN, we specialize in fireproofing, spray insulation, caulking, waterproofing systems, traffic coatings, damproofing, expansion joint covers, air barriers, resinous flooring, and firestopping. Due to growth, we're looking for a Human Resources & Payroll Manager to join our team! This position offers a hybrid schedule.If you are a Human Resources &  Payroll Manager with experience, please read on!What You Will Be DoingAdminister employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, supplemental insurance, and 401(k) offerings.Draft, update, and maintain HR policies, employee handbook content, procedures, forms, and workflows.Coordinate performance review cycles across Apex locations and ensure timely completion by managers.Address employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues with professionalism, fairness, confidentiality, and sound judgment.Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires and support a consistent introduction to Apex policies and expectations.Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.Coordinate payroll processing to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll administration across Apex operations.What You Need for this PositionMust Have Skills: 5+ years of progressive experience in human resources, payroll, and people operationsStrong knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, labor law compliance, performance management, and payroll processesExperience supporting multi-location and/or multi-state operationsProficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, Microsoft Office, and professional business documentationBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldNice to have skills:  SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or comparable HR certificationExperience in construction, skilled trades, field operations, or another fast-moving operational environmentIf hired, you will be rewarded with an offer that includes:1.) $75k-120k Salary2.)
