This role involves working on the core technology that powers our Indeed Flex temporary staffing marketplace, managed-service provider services, payroll systems, and related staffing software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for migrating complex monolithic applications, primarily built with Ruby on Rails, into scalable, service-oriented architectures utilizing modern frameworks such as Java Spring Boot. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing backend APIs, integrating with third-party vendors, and driving large-scale projects that improve the onboarding and compliance processes for Flexers.
