Hybrid - 1 day/week Tempe officeThe Financial Analyst will join the finance team and report to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager. This role is responsible for monthly financial reporting and analysis, supporting the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, maintaining and improving FP&A tools, processes, and data, and partnering with product and business leaders to deliver financial insights that support performance management, planning, and informed decision‑making across the organization.Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly financial statements, management reporting, and executive reporting packagesSupport the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, including variance analysis and insightsDevelop and maintain monthly product and business performance reports and scorecards linking financial and operational dataPartners with product and business teams to provide financial analysis, recommendations, and support for budgeting, investment, and product decisionsBuild, maintain, and enhance financial models by organizing and analyzing data from multiple sourcesManage and continuously improve FP&A systems, tools, processes, and reporting templates to increase efficiency and accuracyWork closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment between actuals, forecasts, and budgetsPerform ad hoc financial analysis and support special projects as neededQualificationsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently, streamline processes, and continuously learn and growStrong financial modeling skills with demonstrated quantitative and analytical capabilityStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsComfortable preparing and presenting analysis to senior-level managementAdvanced Excel skills required; proficiency with PowerPoint; Power Query a plusExperience using SQL to extract and analyze financial data from relational databases a plusExperience with budgeting, reporting, planning, and/or BI tools strongly preferredExperience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central a plusRequired EducationBachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/economics or related experienceRequired Experience3-5+ years of business finance or other relevant analytical experienceNot-for-profit finance or accounting experience is a plus
